Distance from Gibraltar Airport: aprox. 60 km

Driving time:  aprox.  One  hour

Ø  Km 0: Leave the airport.  Follow ALGECIRAS /  San Roque  / Malaga

Ø  Km 7 :Turn LEFT  direction ALGECIRAS

Ø  Km 13: Take RIGHT direction  BARRIOS-JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA (A-381) – no toll !

Note: There are three tunnels. Attention for the Speed radar at the first tunnel. 

Post signed as follow: “Por su seguridad: Control de velocidad” !!!

Ø  Km 35:  LEAVE the highway  EXIT  nº 66 - BENALUP  (CA – 212)

Ø  After 23 km along a winding rural road  (drive slowly!!) , you will enter the village of Benalup.

Drive through the village all the way up to the round about with a  the fuel station  and the Hotel Cortijo Las Grullas.

Ø  Km 58: Take LEFT  at the fuel station towards  VEJER de la  Frontera.

Ø  Take LEFT again after  aprox. 600 metres.  Follow the signs for  “Hotel & Campo de Golf”.

Alternative road (Total distance : 104 km)

If you have plenty of time , you might choose to go the other way via Algecerias, Tarifa and Vejer de la Frontera.  Great views on the Moroccan Coastline  !!  But it’s an extra 46 km !!
